A bit about us…
EcoHaven was founded in order to provide high-quality professional services to support homeowners and organizations who want to protect and improve the natural world. We are a full-service company that can assist our clients through the entire conservation project process- from project design and permitting, to installation and post project monitoring and maintenance. At EcoHaven, we pride ourselves on our tireless work ethic, innovative ideas, and ability to provide high-quality results. EcoHaven is based in Calvert County, Maryland and serves the trail building, habitat management, grant writing, and ecological training needs of all of Maryland.
EcoHaven’s owner, Autumn Phillips-Lewis, is an avid outdoors woman with a passion for caring for natural places and living things. With years of experience working in different realms of the environmental field, Autumn knows there is a growing need for both the technical expertise and the skilled workforce necessary to create and maintain healthy habitats and provide sustainable access to natural places.
Autumn earned a BS in Environmental Science from Elizabethtown College and a MS in Applied Ecology and Conservation Biology from Frostburg State University. She is a Certified Pesticide Applicator in the Forestry and Right of Way categories and successfully completed the Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional level 1 training.
